I was looking for a new subject one day when driving around town. I came across the recently renovated historic Florida Theatre. The facade has been redone, but the old Marquis is still ragged and rough with age. I snapped a few shots and then moved around town looking for other old Marquis. As I was editing and publishing the ones I found here in Jacksonville, I discovered I have many more squirreled away from countless other cities and towns, plus some from other countries. Given that I have always loved a road trip, I figured maybe others would enjoy the scenery with me through these photos.
